Beef Bulgogi

- Beef sirloin (or ribeye), thinly sliced 150 g · 395 kcal

- Sesame oil 5 g · 40 kcal
- Garlic, minced 5 g · 8 kcal
- Ginger, grated 3 g · 2 kcal
- Green onions, chopped 5 g · 2 kcal
- Yellow onion, thinly sliced 25 g · 10 kcal
👨🍳 Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef against the grain into bite-sized pieces; for easier slicing, partially freeze the beef for about 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef, yellow onion, and green onions to the marinade; mix well to ensure all meat is coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably 2-4 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat; add a small amount of cooking oil if necessary, then add the marinated beef in a single layer without overcrowding the pan.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the beef is browned and cooked through, working in batches if necessary; do not overcook to keep the beef tender.
- Once all beef is cooked, return all batches to the pan, toss gently, and serve immediately.
