👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the beef flank steak against the grain. In a bowl, marinate the beef with 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by combining 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, and 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a small bowl.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until smoking. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry quickly for 1-2 minutes until browned, then remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to the wok. Add the fresh wide rice noodles and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened and lightly charred in spots.
  5. Return the beef to the wok. Add the bean sprouts and green onions, then pour in the prepared sauce. Quickly stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is well combined and hot.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your authentic Beef Chow Fun!
