👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear chicken pieces until lightly browned on all sides; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion until softened, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Return the chicken to the pot. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and water/broth. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add potatoes and carrots to the pot. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Stir in bell peppers and green peas. Continue to simmer for another 5-10 minutes, until bell peppers are crisp-tender.
