👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breast into thin, bite-sized pieces; in a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, and water for the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked through and lightly browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add broccoli florets to the same skillet, adding a splash of water if needed, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the broccoli. Stir the sauce mixture thoroughly once more, then pour it over the chicken and broccoli.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and broccoli, about 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately, optionally with rice.
