🛒 Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 55 g · 200 kcal
  • Chicken mince (lean) 80 g · 90 kcal
  • Onion 20 g · 8 kcal
  • Water 25 g · 0 kcal
  • Unsalted butter 5 g · 37 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: Combine flour, water, and a pinch of salt. Knead until smooth and elastic, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the filling: Finely chop the onion and mix it with minced chicken, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the rested dough thinly and cut it into squares, approximately 8-10 cm (3-4 inches) per side.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square. Bring opposite corners together and pinch to seal, then join the remaining corners to form a traditional manti shape.
  5. Lightly grease the steamer trays. Arrange the manti, ensuring they do not touch each other, and steam for 35-40 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, optionally with a dollop of butter, sour cream, or a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
