Chicken Musakhan Rolls

- Chicken breast, cooked and shredded 75 g · 149 kcal
- Onion, large, thinly sliced 75 g · 30 kcal
- Olive oil 10 g · 88 kcal
- Ground sumac 3 g · 9 kcal
- Pine nuts, toasted 7 g · 45 kcal
- Lavash bread 50 g · 140 kcal
👨🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Cook chicken breast until done, then shred it finely.
- In a large skillet, heat half of the olive oil over medium heat. Add thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until deeply caramelized and tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Remove onions from heat and stir in the shredded chicken, sumac, and half of the toasted pine nuts. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lay a lavash bread sheet flat. Spoon a portion of the chicken and onion mixture along one edge, leaving space at the ends.
- Fold the short ends of the lavash over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the filled edge to form a compact roll.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy. Garnish with the remaining toasted pine nuts before serving.
