  • Basil pesto 25 g · 125 kcal
  • Provolone cheese, sliced 40 g · 120 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your panini press to medium-high heat. If you don't have one, a grill pan or cast-iron skillet with a heavy object can be used.
  2. Slice the ciabatta roll horizontally and spread a generous layer of basil pesto on both cut sides.
  3. Layer the sliced provolone cheese on the bottom half of the ciabatta, then add the cooked chicken breast slices.
  4. Place the top half of the ciabatta roll over the filling to complete the sandwich.
  5. Place the assembled panini in the hot press and grill for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the press, let it cool for a minute, then slice in half diagonally and serve immediately.
