- Whole Chicken 1500 g · 2475 kcal
- Leeks 1000 g · 610 kcal
- Pitted Prunes 100 g · 240 kcal

👨🍳 Instructions
- Rinse the whole chicken and place it in a large pot with 2.5 liters of cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer gently for 1.5 hours, skimming off any foam.
- Remove the chicken from the pot, allow it to cool, then debone and shred the meat. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean pot.
- Trim and thinly slice the white and light green parts of the leeks. Add the sliced leeks and pitted prunes to the strained broth.
- Bring the soup to a gentle simmer and cook for another 30-40 minutes, or until the leeks are tender. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Return the shredded chicken meat to the pot and heat through for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
