👨🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, chicken broth, and fresh thyme. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce slightly thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the turkey breast for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Pour about half of the cranberry sauce over the turkey breast in the skillet. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a tender and moist result.
- Slice the turkey breast and serve with the remaining cranberry sauce. Garnish with additional fresh thyme if desired.
