  • Chicken breast, boneless, skinless 200 g · 330 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add finely chopped shallot to the same skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Whisk in Dijon mustard until well combined and smooth.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it.
  6. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite side dish like mashed potatoes or rice.
