👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Cut the pita bread into bite-sized pieces and spread them on a baking sheet; drizzle with 7g of olive oil and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the remaining 7g of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground lamb and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Season with cumin powder and salt.
  3. In a bowl, combine the plain whole milk yogurt, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.
  4. To assemble, spread the toasted pita bread pieces on the bottom of a serving dish. Layer with the warm chickpeas, then the cooked ground lamb.
  5. Pour the creamy yogurt sauce generously over the layers. Garnish with toasted pine nuts, fresh chopped parsley, and a sprinkle of paprika. Serve immediately.
