Garlic Pepper Chicken

- Chicken Breast, boneless, skinless 180 g · 297 kcal

- Soy Sauce 20 g · 10 kcal
- Oyster Sauce 15 g · 18 kcal
- Granulated Sugar 5 g · 20 kcal

👨🍳 Instructions
- Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces; in a bowl, toss the chicken with 1 tsp cornstarch until lightly coated, then set aside.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and the remaining 1 tsp cornstarch to create the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes; remove chicken and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, pour in the prepared sauce, and add the freshly ground black pepper.
- Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken completely. Serve immediately, optionally with steamed jasmine rice.
