- Wash and cut pork spareribs into serving pieces; brown them in a pot over medium heat, then drain any excess fat.
- Add water to the pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the pork is tender (about 1 hour).
- Add sliced tomatoes and onion to the pot, simmering for another 5-10 minutes until they soften.
