🛒 Ingredients

  • Spaghetti 80 g · 280 kcal
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 27 g · 243 kcal
  • Garlic 12 g · 18 kcal
  • Red Pepper Flakes 1 g · 3 kcal
  • Fresh Parsley 5 g · 2 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the thinly sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Before draining, reserve about 1 cup of pasta water. Drain the spaghetti and add it directly to the skillet with the garlic and oil mixture.
  4. Pour in about 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water and toss vigorously to emulsify the sauce. Continue tossing, adding more pasta water as needed, until the sauce coats the spaghetti beautifully.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in the fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
