🛒 Ingredients

  • Chicken breast, boneless, skinless 150 g · 240 kcal
  • Cream cheese 30 g · 105 kcal
  • Fresh spinach 50 g · 12 kcal
  • Garlic, minced 5 g · 7 kcal
  • Olive oil 5 g · 45 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Butterfly the chicken breast by slicing it horizontally almost all the way through, then open it up like a book.
  2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, cooked and drained spinach, minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and black pepper.
  3. Spoon the spinach and cream cheese mixture onto one half of the butterflied chicken breast, then fold the other half over to enclose the filling. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Season the outside of the stuffed chicken breast generously with salt and black pepper.
  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breast for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
  7. Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
