👨🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the Yaji spice blend by combining the ground roasted peanuts, ginger powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Lightly coat the thinly sliced beef with a small amount of vegetable oil, then generously dredge each slice in the Yaji spice blend, ensuring it's evenly coated on all sides.
- Thread the coated beef slices onto wooden skewers. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or ideally 2-4 hours for enhanced flavor.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the suya skewers for 3-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness and the coating is lightly charred.
- Serve the hot suya immediately, garnished with fresh slices of red onion, tomato, cucumber, and lime wedges. Enjoy with a sprinkle of extra Yaji spice if desired.
