👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions in well-salted boiling water until al dente; reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Meanwhile, slice open the tarako sacs lengthwise and scrape the roe out into a medium bowl; discard the membranes.
  3. To the tarako, add softened butter, olive oil, and soy sauce; mix until well combined and a creamy sauce forms.
  4. Add the hot, drained spaghetti to the bowl with the tarako sauce; toss well to coat, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to achieve desired consistency.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with shredded nori and thinly sliced green onions.
