👨🍳 Instructions
- Press excess water from the tofu, then dice it into small cubes and lightly fry until golden brown; set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and red chili; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add diced carrots, green beans, and shredded cabbage; stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the day-old cooked rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps, and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Pour in soy sauce and kecap manis; mix thoroughly to ensure the rice is evenly coated and seasoned.
- Return the fried tofu to the wok and mix it gently into the rice.
- Continue to stir-fry for 2-3 more minutes until the Nasi Goreng is heated through and flavors are well combined.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cucumber and tomato slices, chopped spring onion, and crispy fried shallots.
