👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add diced onion, celery, and bell pepper; sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for another minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes and fish broth; bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Gently add the cod fillets and calamari to the stew. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add the shrimp and mussels.
  5. Continue simmering for another 3-5 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink, the mussels open (discard any that don't), and the fish is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Ladle into bowls, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
