  • Unsweetened soy milk 1000 g · 540 kcal
  • Granulated sugar 60 g · 240 kcal
  • Agar-agar powder 8 g · 0 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the agar-agar powder with 100ml of water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the agar-agar mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the agar-agar is completely dissolved. Do not boil vigorously.
  3. Add the unsweetened soy milk and granulated sugar to the saucepan. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined and heated through, but do not boil.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture into individual serving bowls or a larger mold.
  5. Allow the pudding to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until completely set and firm.
  6. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh fruit, a drizzle of maple syrup, or a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
