  • Apple, medium 170 g · 88 kcal
  • Brown Sugar 12 g · 48 kcal
  • Unsalted Butter 5 g · 36 kcal
  • Ground Cinnamon 2 g · 0 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Wash the apples thoroughly and carefully core them, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the apples in a baking dish and fill the center of each apple with the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture, then top with a small piece of butter.
  3. Pour about 1/4 cup of water into the bottom of the baking dish to prevent sticking and help steam the apples. Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. Carefully remove the baked apples from the oven and serve warm, optionally with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of the pan juices.
