🛒 Ingredients

  • Large baking potato 250 g · 200 kcal
  • Canned baked beans in tomato sauce 200 g · 170 kcal
  • Unsalted butter 15 g · 110 kcal
  • Cheddar cheese, grated 30 g · 120 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Scrub the potato clean, prick it all over with a fork, and rub a tiny amount of oil (or nothing) on the skin.
  2. Place the potato directly on the oven rack and bake for 60-90 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the inside is fluffy when squeezed.
  3. While the potato bakes, gently heat the canned baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until hot.
  4. Once the potato is cooked, carefully slice it lengthwise and fluff the inside with a fork. Add the butter, then generously spoon over the hot baked beans.
  5. Finally, sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese and serve immediately for a comforting and satisfying meal.
