🛒 Ingredients

  • Whole Trout (cleaned) 300 g · 357 kcal
  • Lemon 50 g · 15 kcal
  • Fresh Dill 5 g · 0 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Rinse the whole trout under cold water, then pat it thoroughly dry with paper towels, inside and out.
  3. Score the skin of the trout 2-3 times on each side with a sharp knife to help it cook evenly and absorb flavors.
  4. Rub the trout all over with olive oil, then season generously inside and out with salt and black pepper.
  5. Stuff the cavity of each trout with lemon slices and fresh dill sprigs.
  6. Place the stuffed trout on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.
