  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or kadai over medium heat; add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onion and green chilies, then sauté until the onion turns translucent.
  3. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and the oil starts to separate.
  5. Mix in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder; cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Add chopped cabbage and green peas, along with salt; mix well to coat with the spices.
  7. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
  8. Add garam masala, mix gently, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
