  • Garlic 10 g · 15 kcal
  • Dry White Wine 50 g · 40 kcal
  • Fresh Parsley 5 g · 2 kcal
  • Lemon 30 g · 9 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Thoroughly scrub the clams under cold running water to remove any sand or grit. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and parsley, and slice the lemon into wedges.
  3. Place the cleaned clams directly on the hot grill grates. Grill for 5-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until all the clams have opened.
  4. While clams are grilling, heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the dry white wine and bring to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the alcohol to cook off slightly. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  6. Remove the grilled clams from the grill and arrange them on a serving platter. Drizzle generously with the garlic-wine sauce and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges for squeezing. Enjoy as an appetizer or light main course.
