  • Olive Oil 28 g · 248 kcal
  • Garlic 6 g · 9 kcal
  • Lemon Juice 30 g · 7 kcal
  • Parmesan Cheese 15 g · 65 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Wash romaine heads thoroughly and pat dry. Cut each head lengthwise through the core, creating two halves, ensuring the core remains intact to hold the leaves together.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the romaine halves with the remaining olive oil. Place them cut-side down on a preheated grill over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, until slightly charred and softened.
  4. Transfer the grilled romaine halves to a serving platter. Drizzle generously with the prepared lemon-garlic dressing and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
