  • Olive oil 8 g · 66 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and pat them very dry using a salad spinner or paper towels; excess moisture will prevent crispiness.
  3. Tear the dried kale leaves from the thick stems into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large bowl.
  4. Drizzle the kale with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt. Massage the oil and salt into the kale leaves until they are evenly coated and slightly softened.
  5. Spread the seasoned kale in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan for even crisping.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, flipping the kale chips halfway through cooking. They should be crispy but not burnt; watch them carefully as they can burn quickly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Kale chips will crisp up even more as they cool.
