👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. If using dried kelp, soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes until it is soft and rehydrated. Drain thoroughly, rinse under cold water, and squeeze out any excess liquid. Cut the kelp into bite-sized pieces or thin strips.
  2. Julienne the cucumber and carrot into thin strips. Mince the garlic finely.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the prepared kelp, julienned cucumber, and carrot. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients.
  5. Toss everything gently to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
