👨🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Combine flour, warm water, egg, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms, then cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Make the filling: Boil and mash potatoes. Sauté chopped onion in butter until golden, then combine with mashed potatoes and farmer's cheese. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
- Assemble the pierogi: Roll out the dough thinly and cut into circles using a glass or cookie cutter. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, then fold the dough in half and pinch the edges firmly to seal.
