👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, warm water, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt; knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  2. For the filling, combine cottage cheese, egg, chopped fresh dill, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and black pepper in another bowl; mix well until evenly combined.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. On a lightly floured surface, take one piece and roll it out very thinly into a round or oval shape (about 30 cm in diameter), almost transparent, using a rolling pin or by hand.
  4. Spread about 2-3 tablespoons of the cheese and dill filling evenly over the entire surface of the stretched dough. Fold the sides of the dough inward, creating a square or rectangular parcel, or roll it up and coil it into a snail shape.
  5. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Place the shaped placintas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can brush them with a little extra vegetable oil for a crispier crust.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve warm.
