  • Butter 20 g · 180 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes, onion, and cooked meat into small, uniform cubes.
  2. Heat half of the butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the diced potatoes until golden brown and tender, about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove the potatoes from the pan, add the remaining butter, and then fry the diced onion until translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the diced cooked meat to the pan with the onion and fry for another 5 minutes, until slightly browned.
  5. Return the fried potatoes to the pan with the meat and onion, mix well, season with salt and pepper, and continue to fry for a few more minutes to heat everything through.
  6. While the hash is heating, fry the large egg in a separate pan to your desired doneness, ideally sunny-side up.
  7. Serve the hot Pyttipanna immediately, topped with the fried egg, a side of pickled beetroot, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
