Quail Adobo

- Soy Sauce 48 g · 32 kcal
- Cane Vinegar 40 g · 8 kcal
- Garlic cloves 20 g · 30 kcal
- Bay Leaves 1 g · 1 kcal
- Black Peppercorns 2 g · 5 kcal

👨🍳 Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat. Sear the quail pieces until golden brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Return the seared quail to the pot. Pour in the soy sauce and cane vinegar, then add the bay leaves, black peppercorns, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the quail is tender and cooked through.
- Remove the quail from the sauce. If desired, reduce the sauce over medium-high heat until it thickens slightly, about 5-10 minutes.
- Serve the Quail Adobo hot with the rich sauce, traditionally accompanied by steamed white rice.
