👨🍳 Instructions
- Clean and scale the grouper fish, pat it dry with paper towels, then score both sides of the fish with diagonal cuts.
- Stuff some ginger slices and scallion whites into the fish cavity and slits; place the fish on a heatproof plate.
- Prepare a steamer with boiling water and place the plate with the fish inside; steam for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flaky.
- Carefully remove the steamed fish from the steamer, discard the ginger and scallions from the cavity, and drain any excess liquid from the plate.
- Garnish the fish with fresh ginger slivers, scallion greens, and cilantro.
- In a small saucepan, heat the cooking oil until smoking, then carefully pour it over the ginger and scallions on the fish to sizzle and release their aroma.
- Finally, drizzle the light soy sauce and sesame oil evenly over the fish and serve immediately.
