👨🍳 Instructions
- Thaw phyllo dough according to package directions; preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine crumbled feta, grated Kefalotyri (or Graviera), eggs, milk, and black pepper; mix well until evenly combined.
- Lay half of the phyllo sheets in the prepared baking dish, brushing each sheet generously with melted butter before adding the next, creating an overhang on the sides.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the layered phyllo dough.
- Cover the filling with the remaining phyllo sheets, again brushing each sheet with melted butter before adding the next, then tuck in the overhanging edges to seal.
- Score the top layers of phyllo with a sharp knife into desired serving sizes (squares or diamonds), being careful not to cut through to the filling.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed, allowing it to cool slightly before serving.
