- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat; add chopped onions and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, diced carrots, and bell peppers; cook for another 5 minutes until vegetables begin to soften.
- Stir in sweet paprika and caraway seeds; cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the spices.
