👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. First, prepare the tzatziki sauce: finely dice the cucumber and squeeze out excess water. Mince the garlic and finely chop the fresh dill.
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, diced cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, a drizzle of olive oil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, then stir well and refrigerate to chill.
  3. Slice mushrooms and bell pepper into strips. Toss them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned mushrooms and bell pepper for 8-10 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.
  5. Warm the pita bread in a dry skillet, oven, or microwave until soft and pliable.
  6. To assemble, spread a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce onto the warm pita. Layer with cooked mushrooms and bell pepper, sliced tomatoes, red onion, and shredded lettuce.
  7. Fold or roll up the pita to create a wrap and serve immediately.
