- Soak dried green peas in water overnight or for at least 4-6 hours until rehydrated and tender; then drain thoroughly.
- In a bowl, combine wheat flour, wasabi powder, a pinch of sugar, and salt; whisk until well-mixed.
- Add the rehydrated peas to the dry mixture and toss to coat them evenly, ensuring each pea is lightly covered.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 170-180°C (340-350°F) for frying, or preheat oven to 160°C (325°F) for baking.
