👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the farfalle pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through and flaky. Remove salmon from skillet, flake it into bite-sized pieces, and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed, then sauté chopped onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the dry white wine and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce slightly. Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, then bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
  6. Drain the cooked farfalle, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water. Add the pasta and flaked salmon to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently to combine.
  7. If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon or two of the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Stir in fresh dill and serve immediately.
