👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Clean and cut the salmon steak into serving pieces; set aside. Prepare all vegetables by washing and slicing tomatoes into wedges, onions into quarters, daikon radish, long beans, and okra into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the onions, tomatoes, and green chili, then simmer for about 5 minutes until vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in the tamarind soup mix and fish sauce. Add the daikon radish and long beans, cooking for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  4. Carefully add the salmon steak pieces to the simmering broth. Cook for 5-8 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and cooked through.
  5. Finally, add the okra and water spinach, cooking for just 1-2 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Season with more fish sauce or salt to taste, if needed.
