🛒 Ingredients

  • Snapper fillet 200 g · 260 kcal
  • Olive oil 14 g · 120 kcal
  • Lemon 30 g · 9 kcal
  • Fresh parsley 5 g · 2 kcal
  • Garlic clove 5 g · 7 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Pat the snapper fillet dry with paper towels; score the skin a few times if desired. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Mince the garlic and chop the fresh parsley. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C / 400°F). Lightly brush the grill grates with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Brush the snapper fillet generously with the olive oil and herb mixture. Place the fillet skin-side down on the preheated grill.
  5. Grill for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary based on the thickness of your fillet.
  6. Once cooked, remove the grilled snapper from the grill. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges for squeezing.
