Trout with Almonds

- Trout fillet 150 g · 210 kcal
- Unsalted butter 30 g · 213 kcal
- Sliced almonds 20 g · 115 kcal
- All-purpose flour 10 g · 36 kcal
- Fresh lemon juice 5 g · 1 kcal
- Fresh parsley 5 g · 2 kcal
👨🍳 Instructions
- Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Lightly dredge each fillet in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat half of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it melts and begins to foam. Carefully place the trout fillets in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cooked trout from the skillet and transfer to serving plates. Keep warm.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from the heat, then stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Immediately spoon the warm almond butter sauce over the cooked trout fillets.
