🛒 Ingredients

  • Trout fillet 150 g · 210 kcal
  • Unsalted butter 30 g · 213 kcal
  • Sliced almonds 20 g · 115 kcal
  • All-purpose flour 10 g · 36 kcal
  • Fresh lemon juice 5 g · 1 kcal
  • Fresh parsley 5 g · 2 kcal

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Lightly dredge each fillet in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
  2. Heat half of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it melts and begins to foam. Carefully place the trout fillets in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the cooked trout from the skillet and transfer to serving plates. Keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat, then stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Immediately spoon the warm almond butter sauce over the cooked trout fillets.
